I
am starting a new guide as you may have already noticed called “Growing
Szn” that will focus on building muscle during the fall and winter
seasons. It is set up for 5 days a week with 2 rest days you can take
whenever you need them. I will be adding the workouts as I do them so we can do it together!
To figure out how much you should be eating to gain muscle use THIS macro calculator. Eating in a surplus means you may gain some fat as well as muscle but it’ll be worth it in the long haul and honestly who cares about extra fluff, more to love. If you would like some extra nutrition help check out my nutrition guide HERE.
Let’s use the hashtag #ccgrowingszn to follow each other along this journey!

K done for now love you all and check out the sale I am running on my most recent Instagram post.
“Ahhhh,
final photos due ): so sad but I’m soooo happy I got to work with you!
You don’t know how much you impacted my life. Allowed me to turn to the
gym through the hard times I’ve gone through, be so much happier, strive
to help others, feel stronger, all the above. You did it. This program
changed me for the better and was such a great experience. Loved working
with you and loved being able to talk to all of the other girls. Made
some great friendships I hope to keep forever. Thank you for everything
you have done! Congratulations on all of your achievements as well and I
know you’ll continue to grow yourself and your brand. I can’t wait to
work with you in the future! This is by far one of the best fitness
related things I’ve got myself into.”
“Hey
Cristina! So I know you already chose your winners for the challenge,
but I still want to share my progress with you and thank you! I plan to
continue my fitness journey and better myself further, but it has been
so fun learning new ways to work myself, as well as fun and healthy
eating habits! Over the 8 weeks, I lost a total of 20 pounds and went
from a size 10 to a size 8. I still have a ways to go until I reach my
goal, but this has been a great experience. Honestly, the toughest part
of the challenge was just making it regimen to get to the gym on a
regular schedule. Also, Lexi and I mostly did the lifts and some days we
would incorporate the cardio, but not always. Surprisingly the eating
wasn’t difficult (I didn’t count my macros) but instead I just avoided
highly processed foods and tried to stick close to your grocery list and
be conscious of the calories in each thing I consume π I swear I’ve
never eaten so much granola as in the past 8 weeks and I loved it! Thank
you again!!”
“YES
YES YES YES YES YES!!!! I honestly thought these shorts would never
fit again! I honestly never thought my back fat rolls would go away. I
cannot believe I did this in just 9 weeks! I am so incredibly happy! I
could not thank you enough!!!! I have gained so much confidence in
myself and I honestly owe it all to you and finally motivating me to
make a change. Thanks for everything! Cannot wait to continue my health
journey with you!”
“The
tournament went really well for me, while I wasn’t trying to lose a ton
of weight, I joined the challenge to more get out of the funk/road
block I was in before. I think that I definitely grew mentally more than
physically. The scale actually stayed the exact same, but looking at my
photos I can see that I leaned out some, so hopefully that means I
gained some muscle?!
Before
this, I had done a few of your personal plans and did awesome, after
buying like 6ish from you I decided to go off on my own. I did really
well at first but then life got busy during summer and I really slacked
off. So when I saw this tournament I knew I had to join! Overall, I had
more better weeks than bad, I am currently working full time, have a
small part time job, AND trying to start and run my own photography
business so fitting in workouts and making them a priority during this
has been a really big hurdle that I’ve jumped.
One
of the hardest parts was actually getting to the gym haha, to overcome
that it was all mental, I really just had to drive there without
thinking, before I gave myself reasons why I couldn’t. I also reminded
myself of the body and health that I do want and that I won’t get it
without putting in the work.
I
did track macros, this was my first time doing this and I LOVED it!! I
learned that I was probably eating too many carbs before and was way
short on protein. I will no doubt continue counting my macros from here
on out. I really liked how accountable and easy it made it to eat
healthy and knowing when to stop!”
“Hi
Cristina, here are my final pictures! Unfortunately I was sick for week
5/6 and ended up having to take a week off from the gym but I really
tried to kill it during the end of week 6 when I was feeling better.
Thank you so much for everything you’ve taught me throughout the
challenge, your support and encouragement were always so motivating! I
think overall things went really well. I really liked the workouts and 5
days a week worked really well with my schedule. The hardest part for
me, I think, was being home and in summer mode. Between beach days, ice
cream, dinners out, family and friend’s barbecues, and nights out at the
bar every weekend, I had a hard time keeping my treat meals to 2 meals,
with most of them turning into 2 full days. That is something I have
always struggled with though. I can hit the gym hard every day, but as
soon as thereβs unhealthy food around me, I have no will power. However,
knowing I was doing a challenge did help me to stay on track some of
the time. But all in all, I would totally do another challenge! Thanks
so much for everything, Can’t wait to get back into my other program I
bought from you and see more progress π
I’ve
been getting a lot of questions regarding nutrition and meal plans and
unfortunately there are too many of you for me to calculate everyone’s
individual macros and write a meal plan for. I don’t even write meal
plans for my tournament girls because I haven’t had luck with them in
the past. Instead I offer a nutrition guide with my tournaments to help
let you know what types of foods to avoid instead of exactly what to eat
and this has been much more helpful and successful!
My
next tournament is opening for enrollment on June 23rd so stay tuned
because I will be announcing more updates on my Instragram!
In the meantime, here is the macro calculator I use for my clients and I to help figure how much we should be eating to reach our goals.
And here are some YouTube videos of mine that could be helpful!
